At Hosting Power, we make life simple for anyone looking to rent their spare room. Our students are mature, busy and self sufficient, so hosting with us does not require any work. We will advise you on the best rental price and ensure you a great occupancy rate for your room. It is also our priority to support you throughout the duration of your time as a host.

1 – Apply

All you need to do to become a host in Dublin or in Cork, is apply via our online application form and you will then be contacted for a brief phone interview.

2 – Home Visit

We will then schedule a visit at your home as it's important for us to meet our hosts face to face. At this time we will take professional, HD photographs of the room and common areas of the house, which will be used to promote your listing.
Your home will then be listed anonymously on our website, and we will manage the booking requests for you.

3 – Student Booking

Once we find a suitable student to rent your room, we then begin our vetting process and thoroughly check their documents. We ensure that the terms and conditions have been understood and accepted. The room is then booked, pending your final approval.

That's it!

It's that simple. At Hosting Power, we value the work you are doing by providing accommodation for our students, that’s why we don’t charge our hosts any fees.
Not only that, but working with us entitles you to income that is tax free under the rent-a-room relief scheme

We are looking forward to welcoming you on board! Apply now to become a host!
