The Property

It is a large and cosy modern two storey house. It is modern, clean and inviting. It is a very popular place to stay because the environment is very welcoming. The room available to rent is a pretty single room. The single bed is very comfortable. There is a bedside locker/chest of drawers for storage with a lamp on top. There is also a chair so the surface of the locker can be used as a work space. There is a large fitted wardrobe with mirror panel for storage. For entertainment, there is a TV mounted on the wall. The room is clean, peaceful and very relaxing. There is WiFi throughout the entire house. The shared bathroom is clean and features a WC, a washbasin, a bath and a wonderful electric shower so there is always plenty of hot water. Downstairs you will find the kitchen. It is bright and spacious and fitted with all modern conveniences. For cooking, it’s fitted with an oven, a hob, a microwave, small cooking appliances and utensils. For storage, there is a fridge, freezer and cupboard space. For dining, there is cutlery and crockery. The dining area is an extension of the kitchen. There is a nice dining table and chairs in front of a TV. There is also a large back garden, with garden furniture. It’s a very pleasant, cosy and modern home to stay in. Please note that the shared spaces within the house do not include a sitting room area.

The Location

My house is located in a very friendly neighbourhood in Glasnevin, Dublin 11. It is ideal for anyone working in Dublin 9 or Dublin 11, and it's a great opportunity for students attending Dublin City University (DCU) as it only takes 25 minutes’ walk to get there. The nearest bus stop is less than 5 minutes’ walk from my doorstep servicing multiple routes going in and out of the city centre. You can get the 83 or 83a buses into the city centre. The bus takes approximately 30 minutes to the city centre being ideal for anyone needs to commute to the city center to work or study. There is a large Tesco supermarket only minutes’ walk from the house. The Charleston Shopping Centre is 40 minutes walking distance from the house, and it has a wide range of shops such as cafes, clothing stores, a cinema and much more. If you like nature, there is a nice large park named Johnstown Park just across from our estate.

The Host

My name is Patricia, and I am recently retired. I worked in the Mater Private Hospital. I love walking, reading, line dancing and swimming. I also mind my grandchildren three days a week. I travel when I can, especially to Spain which is my favourite holiday destination! I have three children; two boys and one girl, and 10 grandchildren. The house is pet free. You will be very welcome staying with me in my lovely home.
